Numeracy Maths

In room 10 we have been writing recounts about Get Your Game On

 Get your game on  

I woke up excited because it was to get your game on.It was part of our school program that we do once every term.Once I arrived at school we did some work, then it was morning tea. After playing, the bell rang for us to go back inside.Soon after eating we eventually went onto the courts to wait for the other classes.

Eventually while we were waiting me and my friend andronicus and bailey were talking so that we don't get bored.Me and my class counted down from ten to one by then all the classes were already sitting down on the courts.Mrs Raj our deputy principal told us our first game i was so excited for our first game.

Our first game was called Lape, it's very easy. It's likes soft ball but you hit it with your hand, after you hit the ball before it goes on the grass it has to touch the concrete,after hitting the ball there are four cones you need to touch,while trying to touch the cones you need to try and dodge the ball.Then my friend bailey hit the ball straight up and the opposing team catches it on the full,i went over to my friend and said good try bailey.Soon after Lape we went to rob the nest.

We went over to rob the nest and i was getting even more excited.There were a bunch of cones in the middle of the circle our teacher split us up into two groups.My team was on the other side the opposing team was across from us,the teacher counted down from three to one once she said one I ran fast as i could i was up against this girl named Avania she was super quick i grabbed a cone and told the second person to run then the game was on it was challenging because there were alot of fast people like me .After doing a lot of running we had a break and our teacher told us that we had to skip to get the cones in the middle.It was a bit of a challenge but my team could handle it.

When we finished playing rob the nest we went over to silent ball in room 2 most of my classmates played it so i guess they are good.We hopped straight into the game and it was going pretty good until the teacher changed the rules.She said not to make any noise or if your drop the ball then you will be out.I was sitting next to my friends andronicus and bailey.They were the best at the game,when i got the ball i quickly threw the ball to Ana b and she catches,Then she passed the ball to Melepalu we heard people talking and the teacher said the people who were talking are out.

When playing all the games we headed back to the courts.When we got to the courts i could see our teacher Mr Nath he was waiting for us to sit down.When we sat down our deputy principal Mrs Raj said that we could go have our lunch So we all bursted off.

Today we have been learning about Stem and leaf graph.After working with our teacher we created  a stem and leaf graph Here is an example of what we did
